15 years of helping abused children | Columns

0

Fifteen years ago this month, the Adams County Children’s Advocacy Center began providing services to abused children and their families. Since then, our agency has supported over 2,000 child victims on their journey from the initial outcry to hope and healing, while providing child abuse prevention education to over 12,000 children and adults across the country. Adams County.

Since we welcomed the first child to our center on September 19, 2006, a lot has changed. With the support of our community, we have been able to expand our services to support abused children and their families, while also working to prevent future child abuse.
