HIDALGO, TX– U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Hidalgo International Bridge apprehended Raul Marin Osorio, a Mexican citizen from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, who had a warrant arrest for sexual assault on a child.

On February 11, 2022, Deputy U.S. Marshals contacted the Port of Hidalgo to advise that a wanted person was heading to the Hidalgo International Bridge and requested CBP to assist with the apprehension.

The 41-year-old arrived from Mexico at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge on foot and a CBP officer immediately secured and escorted him to the secondary processing area where biometric verification could confirm his identity as well as the warrant.
