HCA ASKS THAT THE HOLIDAY LIGHTS STAY ON
HCA Virginia is asking the community to show support for frontline healthcare workers through its âKeep Your Lights Up for Healthcare Heroesâ program through January 31.
âHealth heroes have been fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic for almost two years, sacrificing time with their families, putting themselves at risk and working long hours to care for others,â Jan said. Gannon, HCA Chief Nursing Officer of the Capital Division. âThe holiday lights give an emotional boost to all who see them. “
HCA Virginia is calling on businesses, communities and homeowners to keep their vacation lights on for all frontline healthcare workers in the state. Other ways to get involved include posting a photo of Christmas lights on social media with the hashtag # LightsUp4Heroes; display posters in the yard, thanking the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists and other professionals who continue to treat patients with COVID; and personally thank an acquaintance in the field of health care.
